Maryland’s Overdose Response Strategy
Maryland’s Overdose Response Strategy identifies five strategic goals to guide the efforts of state agencies working to address substance use and overdose. It identifies a primary goal of reducing the number of fatal overdoses in Maryland, and five supporting goals under our policy priority areas of Prevention, Meeting People Where They Are, Treatment, Recovery, and Public Safety.
The priorities identified in Maryland’s Overdose Response Strategy were informed by extensive outreach with subject matter experts from state and local agencies, as well as community-based organizations, advocates, and the general public. Please email [email protected] with comments or questions.
